We are excited to be the official dbt meetup organizers in Denmark! We are committed to creating a community for tech nerds and data aficionados that will be all about knowledge sharing and learning from each other.
The dbt Meetups have been on our agenda for a while, and even though we did not hold the first dbt Meetup in 2022, we have now committed to facilitating multiple meetups around Denmark in 2023.
The dbt Meetups are not only for people planning or working with dbt but also for people working within the data space. We have big plans for 2023, and we hope everyone will help us create a new community where we can collaborate and get better together!
The Meetups is an opportunity for the local dbt Labs Community to connect and collaborate – And it is for everyone with an interest in data. We welcome data analysts, scientists, engineers, architects, and more!
Our Senior Consultant, Marie-Christin Henkelmann is the community lead for the Danish dbt Slack channel which is a community for tech lovers and aficionados. Here you can come for the community and stay for the nerdery where everyone is welcome that wants to talk about dbt Labs and tech. This will also be one of the places we announce meetups.
“The dbt community is a passionate crowd that loves to share and exchange ideas and I highly encourage people to join the Slack channel and get engaged in the discussions. My goal is to make 2023 a year where we foster a community of people that are eager to learn and share experiences and will get to meet and go home with a backpack full of inspiration – both in real life and online.” /Marie-Christin Henkelmann at Intellishore.

“dbt Meetups are an opportunity for the local dbt community to meet in person for connection and collaboration. These events are intended to be by the community, for the community. I am so happy to be working with the team at Intellishore, our official dbt Meetup organizers in Denmark.
As our official organizers, Intellishore is going to be bringing the first-ever dbt Meetup to Copenhagen. I know that they are the perfect team to bring the local dbt community together!”

Test every model prior to production, and share dynamically generated documentation with all data stakeholders.
Write modular SQL models with SELECT statements and the ref() function– dbt handles the chore of dependency management.
