Multiple teams and systems were involved in ‘planning decisions’ such as forecast changes across the value chain and the organization. This resulted in poor forecast accuracy, lost business and low confidence in data.
To eradicate these issues, the company sought to transform their system landscape from “many to one” while allocating planning ownership for both supply and demand planning decisions.
In order to ensure a successful implementation and organizational anchoring Intellishore focused on the following areas: 1) Training of users, 2) Streamlining communication and 3) Close engagement with LoB to anchor ownership.
For the company to succeed with anchoring the new solution, Intellishore developed an implementation framework containing three main components:
1) Change Communication Playbook – secure engagement and streamlined communication across the organization
2) Learning Hub – setup of Microsoft Teams page to centralize all developed content and give the S&OP team a platform to service users better
3) On-site participation – co-facilitation of actual implementation activities within the regions
